ENCOUNTER 3: Describing my Pokémon
First activity
¿Who is that Pókemon?
Objective: Enhance your vocabulary and practice your writing and speaking skills as a pokémon trainer.
First one: review of last class's topic
- Greetings and Presentation: The students should greet and introduce themselves in English. (Saludos y presentación: los estudiantes deben saludar y realizar su presentación en inglés al ingresar al club)
- Review of the last classes: We will go over some of the vocabulary covered in the previous classes. (Repaso de las últimas clases: Repasaremos parte del vocabulario tratado en las clases anteriores)
Second one: I am a Pokémon trainer.
The teacher will give you a sheet with some sentences in English, which are presented as the 'resume' of a Pokémon trainer. There, students must write the answers in English. Afterwards, they must select one of the Poké Balls that will be presented, and from there, their selected Pokémon will emerge.
